Vanishing Twin uit Londen bracht sinds 2016 drie albums uit waarvan de laatste ‘Ookii Gekkou’ onze favoriet is.

De kosmopolitische band bestaat momenteel uit frontvrouw Cathy Lucas (Fanfarlo), Valentina Magaletti (Bat For Lashes, Nicolas Jaar) op drums, bassist Susumu Mukai (aka Zongamin) en Arthur Sajas (gitaar). De band wordt wel eens in één adem genoemd met Stereolab, is beïnvloed door Braziliaanse psych-jazz en wordt vaak omschreven als experimentele of psychedelische popband.
